One of the star fighters of Shooting Gym Osaka.

Takashi was one of the first to join when Osaka's first official shoot gym, Shooting Gym Osaka, opened.

When he started, he showed very little knowledge of ground techniques.
His specialty was striking.

He was fresh out of Seido Kaikan, The organization responsible for the famous K-1 kick boxing matches.

When Jutaro Nakao, moved from Yokohama to be an instructor at Shooting Gym Osaka, there were few people in the Osaka area good or strong enough to be a practice partner for Jutaro.

The job went to Takashi Nakakura.
I think when it all stated, we at the gym would watch Jutaro work over Takashi and think, "I'm glad that aint me!".

had just got back from his victory over one of the most technical fighters of all time, Pat Miletich .
As word got out, what few pro fighters that were in the Osaka, started coming by the Osaka gym to work out.
Takashi was as he said, fearless!
Not only did he train with the pros, he also gained their respect.

"sometimes I think I feel too comfortable on the ground"

Takashi became the first member of the gym to do well in the armature fights and we all knew he was going somewhere.

He is currently 4 and 0 in Professional Shooto.
